Why Sigma?
For over 30 years Sigma members have been honing their investing skills inside of our association. Our alumni include business men and women in top executive positions throughout Europe as well and the world. Sigma provides a vital link between theory and practice to help foster students' knowledge of investing.What we do? SIGMA is the investment club for students of Maastricht University with an interest in portfolio management and financial markets. If you are interested in what we do and you would like to receive more information about us, please feel free to contact the board via pr@sigmainvestments.nl or join one of our regular portfolio meetings: Tuesdays from 7pm - 9pm. We meet in front of the SBE building (Tongersestraat 53)!
Becoming A Member
Sigma Investments is your possibility to invest in your capital market knowledge and experience. Together with interested fellow students you have the possibility to propose stocks and derivatives for a portfolio investment. You can discuss and discover particularities about stock or derivative performance, risks or investment strategies with other members.Membership is open to everyone, however if you wish to become an Active Member and buy into one of our portfolios there is a procedure. The investment experience you gain throughout your active membership could help you to become confident with investing vehicles and benefit your personal wealth management in the future.

The Payout Procedure
You can sell your investment in any of the Sigma portfolios whenever you wish! Simply fill out the membership cancelation and closure of claims forms and return them to your respective treasurer...sigma member cancellation form
